Griffins suffer first PAC loss

ST. DAVIDS, PA - Eastern overwhelmed Gwynedd-Mercy, 20-3, in a PAC women's lacrosse game Wednesday afternoon.

Senior Kaitlin Pope (Warminster, Pa./Archbishop Wood) led the Griffins (3-2, 2-1 PAC) with a goal and an assist.

Eastern's Kate Hoy led all scorers with six goals and four assists and Jessie Basch added four tallies for the Eagles (2-0, 1-0 PAC).

Gwynedd will host St. Vincent's in a non-league game here this Sunday with a 1:30 start.
