BALTIMORE, MD. – Sophomore Rebecca Unangst (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) scored twice and assisted on another to help Gwynedd-Mercy to its 11th win on the season, the most since 2000, in a 5-0 PAC win at Notre Dame on Wednesday. The win also propels the Griffins (11-6, 6-3 PAC) closer to locking up a home playoff game. Juniors Liz Walton (Haverford, Pa./Haverford) and Victoria Geppert (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) and sophomore Amanda Reppert (Olney, Pa./Boyertown) also scored for Gwynedd, who outshot the Gators, 27-1. The Griffins host Neumann this Saturday at 1 p.m. A win would lock up the #4 seed and a home playoff game in the PAC Tournament which begins next Saturday, October 27th.
