MADISON, N.J. -- FDU-Florham defeated Gwynedd-Mercy, 5-1, Tuesday night to give the Griffins their first loss of the season. Freshaman Rachel Collier (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) netted the Griffin's only goal, late in the contest with an assist from sophomore Amanda Reppert (Oley, Pa./Boyertown). The Blue Devils' Christina Fabian scored a hat trick while teammate Christy Barbetto added two scores for FDU-Florham (3-2). Gwynedd (2-1) takes on Alvernia in their first Pennsylvania Athletic Conference game on Thursday at 4 p.m.
