Preseason poll announced
Griffins selected seventh

GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. - The 2006 Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Preseason Field Hockey Poll was released today, placing the Griffins seventh.

Alvernia, last season's champion, was selected first and garnered 10 of 12 first-place votes.

Gwynedd-Mercy opens the 2006 season this Saturday, September 2nd at Haverford College.
