Knights rally past Griffins

GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. - Neumann's Rachel Mease scored two goals, including the game-winner in the first overtime to lift the Knights over Gwynedd-Mercy, 3-2, Wednesday afternoon in a Pennsylvania Athletic Conference game.

The Griffins (3-4, 2-3 PAC) got two goals from sophomore Erin Reedy (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) but saw Neumann rally from a 2-1 deficit.

Michelle Coderre scored for Neumann (4-6, 2-2 PAC) with just over five minutes in regulation to knot the contest at 2-2.

GM goalie Lauren Monte (Perkasie, Pa./Christopher Dock) and Neumann keeper Chelsea Ward each made seven saves apiece.

Gwynedd will host Delaware Valley here in non-league action this Saturday starting at 1 p.m.
