Griffins suffer fouth-straight loss

LEHMAN, PA - Gwynedd-Mercy suffered their fourth loss in a row as Marywood downed the Griffins, 3-0, Saturday afternoon in a Pennsylvania Athletic Conference game. The contest was held at Lehman High School near the campus of Marywood University.

With the loss, GM falls to 7-9 and close out PAC play with a mark of 4-7. The Pacers go to 5-10 with 4-6 league mark.

Carly Savastano recorded a goal and an assist for Marywood, who outshot Gwynedd, 10-8.

The Griffins will host York (Pa.) in the home finale this Tuesday in non-league action starting at 4 p.m.
