Hill nets three goals in victory

GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. - Senior Erin Hill (Collegeville, Pa./Spring-Ford) recorded her second hat trick this season, leading Gwynedd-Mercy to a 3-1 non-league win over Delaware Valley Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore Erin Reedy (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) picked up a pair of assists while junior Lauren Monte (Perkasie, Pa./Christopher Dock) and senior Kaitlin Pope (Warminster, Pa./Archbishop Wood) combined to make nine saves in net.

Hill scored twice in the first half, then again in the 41st minute of the second stanza for the natural hat trick as the Griffins (4-4) closed out a three-game home stand.

Shannon Shivak added an unassisted goal in the 56th minute for the Aggies (5-4).

Gwynedd-Mercy returns to action on Tuesday, as they play at Arcadia in a Pennsylvania Athletic Conference game at 4 p.m.
