September 10, 2005 DOVER, DEL. - Wesley's Dani Vincent scored with less than five minutes in double overtime to sink Gwynedd-Mercy, 3-2, in a PAC matchup. Down 2-1 in the second half, the Griffins (1-4, 0-1 PAC) tied it at 52:31 on freshman Victoria Geppert's (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) first goal of the season. Gwynedd took an 1-0 lead just eight minutes into the contest on a goal from freshman Nicole Dowling (Jamison, Pa./C.B. South). But the Wolverines (2-1, 1-0 PAC) answered with two late first-half goals from Susan Neylan. Sophomore goalie Lauren Monte (Perkasie, Pa./Christopher Dock) recorded 19 saves. Gwynedd-Mercy plays at Immaculata in PAC action
on Tuesday, September 13th at 4 p.m.
