September 1, 2005 ANNVILLE, PA. -- The Gwynedd-Mercy Field Hockey Team lost its season opener to Lebanon Valley, 7-0, Thursday afternoon. The Flying Dutchwomen's Shauna Enck netted three goals as LVC built a 4-0 halftime lead. The Griffins were outshot 33-3. Sophomore goalie Lauren Monte (Perkasie, Pa./Christopher Dock) made 19 saves in the game. GMC will play at York College this Saturday, September 3rd with a 1 p.m. start. |
