Men take 6th, Women 11th in season-opening meet

DOYLESTOWN, PA. - Senior Kevin Bunt (Souderton, Pa./Souderton) placed 12th and freshman Alycia Tranchitella (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Huberts) finished 19th to highlight both the men's and women's cross country teams at the Delaware Valley College Invitational.

Bunt's finish along with three other top 30 finishes from freshman Daniel Geary (Hatfield, Pa./Lansdale Catholic), Jason Robustelli (Lewiston, Me./Lewiston), and Ronald Every (Harleysville, Pa./Lansdale Catholic), helped the men's team to a 6th place finish out of 13 teams.

Tranchitella was 11th overall out of 131 runners in her first collegiate meet which included several Division II schools.

Both teams will be back in action this Saturday at the Towson University Invitational.
