XC Squads both finish second at PAC Championships
Bunt second, Tranchitella third in respective races; Werner named Coach of the Year

DALLAS, PA. - Gwynedd-Mercy's Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams each finished second at the 2006 PAC Championships hosted by Misericordia on Saturday.

Senior Kevin Bunt (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) was second in the men's race. Last year he was third and in 2004 he finished fourth.

Freshman Alycia Tranchitella (Philadelphia, Pa./St. Huberts) took third in the women's race. Freshman Lisa Smedley (Warrington, Pa./C.B. East) also fiinished in the top 10, taking eighth.

Griffin head coach Mike Werner also took home the PAC Men's Cross Country Coach of the Year honor.
