GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. - Gwynedd-Mercy was ranked third in the first NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Regional Rankings released today. It is the highest ever the Griffins have been placed. Top-ranked Messiah (d3hoops.com, ESPN/USA Today) is in first followed by Scranton. The Division III Women's Basketball Committee ranks the top six teams in each of the eight regions, except the Northeast region, which ranks eight teams. Currently, Gwynedd (19-2, 13-0 PAC) is riding on
the heels of a 12 game win streak and will host Neumann in a Pennsylvania
Athletic Conference game on tomorrow here at the Griffin Complex
at 6 p.m.
