Griffins win eighth straight

GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. - Gwynedd-Mercy improved to 14-2 and 8-0 in league play with a 92-57 Pennsylvania Athletic Conference win over Marywood Thursday evening at the Griffin Complex.

The Griffins had three players in double figures led by senior Ashley Vandiver (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) and junior Kristian Woodridge (Abington, Pa./Abington) who each scored 12 points apiece. Sophomore Kristy Cramp (Pennington, N.J./Hopewell Valley) chipped in 10 points as GM won their eighth game in a row.

Gwynedd led 49-19 at the half thanks to 57.1% shooting (20-of-35). For the game, the Griffins hit on 49.3% (33-of-67) from the floor including eight three pointers.

Amanda Less led the Pacers (7-12, 3-7 PAC) with 11 points. Danielle Colon added eight points and six rebounds.

The Griffins take on Arcadia this Saturday in a PAC tilt starting at 2 p.m.
