Dooley leads four players in double figures as Griffins cruise to PAC win

SCRANTON, PA. - Freshman Jackie Dooley (Cheltenham, Pa./Cheltenham) scored 15 of her game-high 18 points in the second half to help lead Gwynedd-Mercy to an 83-43 win over Marywood in a Pennsylania Athletic Conference Game Monday evening.

Senior Michelle Sgrillo (Philadelphia, Pa./Cardinal Dougherty) and freshman Kate McGinn (Ambler, Pa./Lansdale Catholic) each added 12 points while junior Karen Tierney (Philadelphia, Pa./Kennedy-Kenrick) chipped in 11 as the Griffins improve to 3-1 and 2-0 in the PAC.

Adriana DeVito netted 11 points for the Pacers (2-5, 0-3 PAC) who shot just 23.4% (15-of-64) for the game.

Gwynedd forced 18 first half turnovers en route to a 39-21 halftime lead.

Gwynedd-Mercy plays at Immaculata this Thursday in PAC action starting at 6 p.m.
