Griffins extend win streak to 14 games

GLENSIDE, PA. - Gwynedd-Mercy won their 14th-straight contest in a 79-61 Pennsylvania Athletic Conference win at Arcadia Saturday afternoon.

Kristy Cramp led the Griffins (21-2, 15-0 PAC) with a game-high 19 points as the sophomore hit four of the team's six three-pointers on the day. Junior Karen Tierney (Philadelphia/Kennedy-Kenrick) added 11 points and senior Ashley Vandiver (Philadelphia/Archbishop Ryan) chipped in 10.

Gwynedd led from start to finish as Cramp's three-ball capped a 17-6 spurt just over seven minutes into the contest. The lead was extended to 20 early in the second half after Vandiver steal and layup.

Kim Milligan and Caitlin Sparks each scored 15 points for Arcadia (7-16, 5-9 PAC).

The Griffins host Rutgers-Camden on Monday in a non-conference tilt at the Griffin Complex at 7 p.m.
