Five Griffins hit double figures

ASTON, PA - Gwynedd-Mercy cruised to an 88-51 Pennsylvania Athletic Conference win over Neumann Monday night behind five Griffins in double-digits.

junior Jackie Dougherty (Roslyn, Pa./Abington) led the way with 17 points. Senior Jillian Chiarantona (Abington, Pa./Gwynedd-Mercy Academy) and freshman Kristy Cramp (Pennington, N.J./Hopewell Valley) each added 15 points respectively. Chiarantona also grabbed 11 rebounds for her third double-double of the season.

Sophomore Lauren Healy (Glenmoore, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) and Ashley Vandiver (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) each chipped in 13 as GM won its 10th in a row.

Kirsten Patton notched 17 points and 13 boards for the Knights (10-14, 8-7 PAC).

Gwynedd-Mercy will close out the regular season at Arcadia in a PAC matchup on Wednesday, starting at 6 p.m.
