» Athletics › Women's Basketball February 27, 2006 GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. - Gwynedd-Mercy will take on Richard Stockton in the first-round of the 2006 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament this Friday at 5 p.m. on the campus of the University of Scranton. The winner of that game would face the winner of the host Royals and Marymount on Saturday at 7 p.m. The Griffins (24-3) captured the PAC Championship on Saturday, defeating Wesley, 71-60, to punch it's ticket to the big dance. The Ospreys (22-5), out of the New Jersey Athletic Conference, fell in the NJAC Finals to the College of New Jersey, 60-39, and earned an at-large berth. Tickets are $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for senior
citizens, students and children. All children under two will be
admitted free accompanied by an adult. Tickets will go on sale in
the lobby of the Long Center on Thursday, March 2, and Friday, March
3, from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. The Long Center will open its doors
