Mondillo wins career game No. 200 in the process

ST. DAVIDS, PA. -- GMC Head Coach Keith Mondillo
notched his 200th career coaching victory as the Griffins dominated
in a 81-40 Pennsylvania Athletic Conference win over Eastern Saturday
afternoon.
Three players finished in double figures with junior
Ashley Vandiver (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) leading
the way with 17 points and eight rebounds, both game highs. Freshman
Kristy Cramp (Pennington, N.J./Hopewell Valley) added 15
points and junior Jackie Dougherty (Roslyn, Pa./Abington)
chipped in 14 as Gwynedd won their third game in a row.
Gwynedd shot 40% in the first half and pressured
the Eagles into 18 turnovers to take a commanding 35-17 lead at
halftime. For the game, the Griffins (4-1, 2-0 PAC) hit 29-of-61
(47.5%) from the floor and 11-of-22 from downtown.
Abbey Reed led the Eagles (0-5, 0-2 PAC) with 14
points.
In his 11th year, Mondillo now has a career mark
of 200-78 and a 133-27 record in conference play. He has reached
20 or more wins six times under his tenure with a team-best 26-4
mark and a perfect 16-0 PAC record during the 2003-04 season.
Misericordia visits the Griffin Complex this Monday,
December 5th in PAC action starting at 6 p.m.
