Wroten honored with local weekly award
Sophomore named Phila. Small Coaches Assoc. Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA - Sophomore Haven Wroten (Philadelphia, Pa./Prep Charter) awarded the Philadelphia Small College Coaches Association Sam Cozen Player of the Week at the bi-weekly luncheon held at the University of the Sciences.

Wroten averaged 13 points and over eight rebounds in the Griffins' last four contests. His play helped Gwynedd to the league's #2 seed in this week's PAC Tournament.

This is the second time a Griffin was honored with the award. Rashid Santiago was named the player of the week back in February of 2004.
