Griffins hit century mark for first time since

GYWNEDD VALLEY, PA. - Gwynedd-Mercy hit a season-high
in scoring with a 101-54 win over Marywood in a Pennsylvania Athletic
Conference game Thursday evening.
Sophomore David Smith (Cape May Court House,
N.J./Middle Twp.) notched his fourth double double on the season,
finishing with game highs of 21 points and 10 rebounds. Senior Chris
DelBrocco (Philadelphia, Pa./St. John Neumann) netted 18 points
as the Griffins hit 38-of-73 (52.1%) from the floor.
Gwynedd (10-7, 8-2 PAC) raced out to a 23-7 lead
just seven minutes into the game and never looked back. GM led 51-29
at the half.
Adam Wildasin scored 13 points, grabbed six boards,
and dished out five assists for the Pacers (5-13, 2-9 PAC) who shot
20-of-66 (30.3%) for the game and turned the ball over 22 times.
It was the first time the Griffins eclipsed the
century mark since a 109-80 victory over Villa Julie back on February
11th 2004.
The Griffins will host Arcadia in another PAC matchup
this Saturday starting at 4 p.m.
