Smith nabs honorable mention as year-end teams are announced

GYWNEDD VALLEY, PA. - Senior Chris DelBrocco (Philadelphia/St. John Neumann) was named a first-team All-Pennsylvania Athletic Conference selection to highlight the Griffins as the teams were announced.

Sophomore David Smith (Cape May Court House, N.J./Middle Twp.) was selected as an honorable mention pick and senior Rashid Santiago (Allentown, Pa./George School) was named to the All-PAC Sportsmanship Team.

DelBrocco led the Griffins in scoring (16.0 ppg) and was second on the team in assists (88). He also was the team's three-point specialist, hitting over 40% (69-for-172) from beyond the arc. DelBrocco was an honorable mention as a sophomore and garnered second-team honors last season.

Smith transferred in during the winter break and made an immediate impact. In his first three starts, he averaged 21 points and 12 rebounds. For the season, Smith averaged 11.9 points and 7.2 rebounds in 16 games.
