PAC Coaches Select
Alvernia as Favorite in Men's Basketball
ASTON, PA - Alvernia College's men's basketball
team has been selected as the pre-season favorite in the Pennsylvania
Athletic Conference (PAC) coaches poll. The Crusaders received eight
of ten first-place votes and earned 98 points in the poll to outpoint
defending-champion Gwynedd-Mercy College.
Gwynedd-Mercy earned one first-place vote and 90
points in the poll, while Wesley College received the other first-place
vote.
Eastern University (59), College Misericordia (58), Wesley (58),
Cabrini College (54), Neumann College (45), Marywood University
(43), Arcadia University (24) and newcomer Immaculata University
(21) rounded out the voting.
