Gaye set to play professionally
in Europe
Former Griffin to play with Liege in the Belgian League
GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Former All-American and Griffin
great Badou Gaye will be playing in Europe this season for
the Liege Basket of the Belguim League.
Gaye was drafted in April by the USBL's Westchester
Wildfire where he was honored on the league's All-Rookie and All-Defensive
Teams. In 22 games, Gaye averaged 14 points, 10 rebounds, and three
blocks per game.
Liege opens the season October 8th.
