Gwynedd-Mercy lands two on all-conference teams
DelBrocco named to second team, Lauer an honorable mention pick

ASTON, PA - Gwynedd-Mercy's Chris DelBrocco (Philadelphia, Pa./St. John Neumann) and Kevin Lauer (Philadelphia, Pa./St. John Neumann) were named to the 2006 Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Men's Basketball All-League Teams.

DelBrocco, a junior guard, was honored on the second team after earning an honorable mention last season. This year, he led the Griffins in scoring (15.1 ppg), three-pointers made (56), and went over 1,000 career points. He had five games of 20 or more points.

Lauer, a junior forward/center, started play in January after coming back from an injury to earn a spot on the honorable mention list. In just 18 games, he averaged 12.8 points and 7.6 rebounds and posted eight double-doubles. His 25-point, 11-rebound performance against Cabrini on February 11th, helped the Griffins rally from a 22-point second half deficit to an overtime win.

Senior Francis Bowe (Phoenixville, Pa./St. Pius X) was named to the All-PAC Sportsmanship Team.

Gwynedd-Mercy finished 2005-06 at 12-15 and advanced to the PAC Tournament Semifinals.
