March 21, 2006 Daley named ECAC Pitcher of the Week Junior adds to his PAC weekly honors GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. - Gwynedd-Mercy College's Matt Daley (Philadelphia, Pa./Roman Catholic) was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Southern Region Pitcher of the Week for the week ending March 19. The junior pitched a complete-game to notch a win against Haverford last Saturday, allowing six hits and one earned run, while striking out seven in a 3-2 win over the Fords. Earlier in the week, he was honored by Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) as its pitcher of the week. On the season, he is 1-1 in three starts with a
2.45 ERA and 14 strikeouts in 14.2 innings of work.
