Two Griffins named players of the week
Total of four are honored for their performances
ASTON, PA. - Gwynedd-Mercy College's Kevin Bunt
(Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) and Kristen Book (Coatesville,
Pa./Downingtown) were honored by the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference
(PAC) for their performance last week.
Bunt was named the PAC Men's Cross Country Runner
of the Week for the week ending September 17th as the senior finished
ninth out of 94 runners in a time of 29:08 at the Mule/Falcon Invitational.
The Griffins placed 3rd out of 12 teams.
Book was named the PAC Women's Soccer Player of
the Week after she scored three goals, including two game-winners
in a 2-0 week for the Griffins.
Senior Rebecca Dabrowski (Sr, OH, Philadelphia,
Pa./Hallahan) and freshman Erin Fallon (Fr, Pemberton, N.J./Northern
Burlington) were named to the PAC Honor Roll.
Dabrowski had 48 kills and 13 digs in a 2-2 week
for the GMC Volleyball Team while Fallon went 2-0 at #3 singles
and 2-0 at #2 doubles for the women's tennis squad.
