DelBrocco nets PAC and ECAC Player of the Week
Senior instrumental in two PAC wins
ASTON, PA. -- Senior Chris DelBrocco (Philadelphia/St.
John Neumann) was honored by the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference
as its men's basketball player of the week for February 19th. He
was also the ECAC South Region Player of the Week.
DelBrocco averaged 30 points in two big PAC wins
last week. He poured in 29 points on 9-of-18 shooting including
six three-pointers in the road win at Wesley. He then tied a career
high with 31 points and hit the game-winning shot with 0.6 left
to defeat Cabrini in the season finale, sinking eight three-pointers
and adding seven boards and five assists.
The Griffins have clinched the #2 seed in the PAC
Tournament and will host a semifinal round game here at the Griffin
Complex on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
