Tierney selected as PAC Player of the Week
Hit career high in scoring in trip to Florida
ASTON, PA. -- Karen Tierney (Philadelphia,
Pa./ Kennedy-Kinrick) was named the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference
(PAC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending
January 1st.
The junior reached double-digit scoring in two games
in Florida over the holiday break. She scored 12 points, dished
out seven assists, and recorded three steals and a block in the
victory over Nazareth. Followed that up by pouring in a career high
22 points on 9-of-16 shooting in a loss to SUNY-Geneseo; also added
five steals and four assists.
