Mondillo named to national rules committee
Long-time coach appointed in Division III Women's Basketball

GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA - Gwynedd-Mercy College Athletic Director and Women's Basketball Head Coach Keith Mondillo has been named to the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Rules Committee.

This prestigious appointment was made by the Division III Management and Presidents Council and begins effectively on September 1st, 2006.

Mondillo's main objectives on the committee will be to effectively communicate rule issues and any rule-change processes in the women's basketball community. He also will compare ideas and gauge opinions on potential rule changes and will also annually evaluate the playing rules with peers and colleagues to ensure fair play.

"I am honored to be selected to the women's basketball committee and will do everything to represent Gwynedd-Mercy College and Pennsylvania Athletic Conference at a national level."

Mondillo also serves as the chair of the PAC Athletic Directors and the WBCA Kodak All-American selection committee. He also chairs the Women's Basketball selection committee for the ECAC Southern Region and has served on the NCAA Women's Basketball Selection Committee for the Mid-Atlantic Regional from1999-2001.

Entering his 12th season, Mondillo has a career record of 221-81 including four PAC Championships and six NCAA Tournament appearances. On December 5th, 2005, Mondillo and the Griffins secured career victory No.200.

The Griffins open the 2006-07 season on November 18th at the Kean University Tip-Off Tournament.
