Hill, Longbottom garner weekly honor

GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. - The pair of juniors Erin
Hill (Collegeville, Pa./Spring-Ford) and Chrissy Longbottom
(Media, Pa./Penncrest) were selected to the Pennsylvania Athletic
Conference Honor Roll for the Week for October 24-30.
Hill was chosen for the field hockey honor roll
after scoring two goals in two games last week. She ended the season
with five goals and two assists as the Griffins narrowly missed
the playoffs.
Longbottom, hit 38-10-114 (.245) in a 2-1, 1-0 PAC
week. She notched 12 kills against Cabrini to help her team clinch
the #2 seed in this week's PAC Playoffs. Recorded 12 kills and two
aces in a 3-1 win at Philadelphia Bible and ended the week with
13 kills and a season-high nine digs in a loss to Moravian
