Knox leads a plethora of Griffins honored by league
GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. - Senior Kerin Knox (Holland,
Pa./Council Rock) was named the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference
Women's Tennis Player of the Week for Sept. 26-Oct. 2. She is one
of three Griffins honored.
Knox went a perfect 2-0 at #1 singles to help the
team to a 2-0 PAC week. On the season she is 5-2 as the team has
a record of 9-2t.
Junior Dana Landis (Emmaus, Pa./Emmaus) was
named to the women's soccer honor roll after she contributed one
goal and two assists in a 1-1 PAC week.
Junior Kevin Bunt (Souderton, Pa./Harleysville)
earned honor roll status for men's cross country as he was the top
GMC finisher at the Dickinson College Invitational, finishing 37th
out of 224 runners.
Finally, freshman Pat Smith (Philadelphia,
Pa./North Catholic) was selected to the men's soccer honor roll
after scoring twice in a 2-0-1 week for the Griffins.
