League names Bunt and Tubbs players of the week

GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. - Juniors Kevin Bunt
(Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) and Hillary Tubbs (Thornton,
Pa./West Chester East) were named the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference
Players of the Week in their respective sports for the week of Oct.
10-16.
Bunt was named the PAC Men's Cross Country Runner
of the Week for the second week in a row. He captured first place
at the Cabrini Invitational on Saturday, besting a field of 72 runners
in a time of 28:28.57 on the 8K course.
Tubbs was honored as the PAC Volleyball Player of
the Week after she hit .307 with 29 kills, nine blocks and six service
aces as her team went 2-0 and 1-0 in league play this week, extending
their win streak to a season-high six games.
Senior Lynn Beben (Philadelphia, Pa./St.
Hubert) and sophomore Katie Mehaffey (Philadelphia, Pa./St.
Hubert) were named to the weekly honor roll as well
Beben earned a spot on the PAC Women's Tennis Honor
Roll after she went 1-0 in conference play at #3 singles to stay
undefeated on the season.
Mehaffey was selected for the PAC Women's Cross
Country Honor Roll as she was the top GMC finisher at the Cabrini
Invitational on Saturday as the sophomore placed fourth to help
her squad to the overall team title.
