GWYNEDD VALLEY, PA. -- Senior Alycia Tranchitella was honored locally as she was named the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Women’s Cross Country Performer of the Year as voted on by the region's sports information directors.

BETHLEHEM, PA. -- The men's and women's cross country teams wrapped up the 2009 season at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships, hosted by Muhlenberg College, on the campus of Lehigh University. The event featured 45 men’s and 44 women's teams. The men finished 12th overall and the women were 19th, as the squads battled in what is considered by many to be the strongest region in the country.
